Chris Nottingham is a British tech house DJ to be reckoned with.

In the 8 years he's been on the scene he has notched up a list of achievements any underground music veteran would be proud of. Playing some of the countries biggest nightclubs, regularly dominating the airwaves with his dark and edgy mixes, running successful club nights himself and supporting some of the industry’s biggest acts, it appears that there’s nothing this guy can’t turn his hand to.



Being a lover of music and appreciating the talent of DJing, Nottingham started his career playing vinyl, an art form that is lost on young talent these days. Of course back in 2009 this wasn’t exactly a necessity with the likes of CDJ’s around, however it just goes to show the passion he has have for the industry and what it’s about.



With their clear determination and talent, Nottingham was getting featured on some of the best underground radio stations around. The cutting edge sound of deep tech with splashes of techno meant his mixes were being aired on Raw Flex, Supreme Dance, Phatbeats, London Soundz, Playback UK, Exposed Beats & Select. It wasn’t long before he gained a name and reputation in the scene.

With this rapid momentum, it was no surprise that Nottingham soon amassed regular gigs at some of the country’s hottest clubs, such as MOS, Pacha, Lightbox, Source Bar and Mojo’s which gave him the opportunity to support massive acts like the Patrick Topping, Solardo, Leftwing & Kody, MDE, Prok & Fitch, Hoxton Whores, Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Hannah Wants, DJ EZ and MK.

Not looking to rest on his laurels, Chris set up his own club nights, with Megfest running its first event at the end of summer 2014 and more recently k3pt launching is highly successful boat party at the latter part of 2014. With 2015 seeing the beginning of another project, Dance for Meg, as well as gigs and a regular spot on Exposed Beats Radio every Sunday (8-10pm), it looks like the Chris has a seriously busy 2017 ahead of him!
