Following their recent sell-out UK tour supporting King King, and their Planet Rock Roadstars UK tour with Broken Witt Rebels, and the recent announcement of their October 2017 tour with The Kentucky Headhunters, Bad Touch are pleased to announce they’ll be undertaking a headline tour in November with special guest Mollie Marriott.

“We’re excited to be taking to the road in November with Mollie,” says Bad Touch’s lead singer, Stevie Westwood. Not only is she only a great vocalist in her own right, but she’s also the daughter of the legendary guitarist and singer Steve Marriott (Small Faces, Humble Pie). She’s part of rock royalty. It will be great to have Mollie touring with us. She’s got a killer voice. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Mollie Marriott, daughter of former Small Faces and Humble Pie singer/guitarist Steve Marriott and step-daughter to singer Joe Brown has spent her music career in the wings, having worked mostly as a backing singer with numerous artists including Oasis and Joe Brown.

Mollie’s sassy soulful blues vocals are full of classic influences. She can find a raw emotional edge that the best soul and rock singers have – at times rootsy and upscale through to modest and classy with a sustained relaxed feel.

Her classic rock and modern sensibilities are irresistible. Her cool seductive style embodies the classic feel of Sheryl Crow, the vulnerability of Stevie Nicks, and the soul of Bonnie Raitt. Her band seamlessly combines dirty guitars with her gravelly bluesy voice, packed full of emotion.

Mollie sang backing vocals at the London Astoria tribute to her late father, where she performed alongside Paul Weller, Zak Starkey and Deborah Bonham. She also performed at Royal Albert Hall with Dean Rees, Steve Ellis and Ronnie Wood as part of Ronnie Lane’s Memorial Concert.

She’s shared the stage with The Who, Mick Hucknall, and Jeff Beck where she sang backing vocals at The Faces 2015 reunion. She sang alongside Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Mark Knopfler and Imelda May at Bill Wyman’s 80th birthday, and she’s also toured with Paul Weller and Wilko Johnson. She is due to release new single “Control” – taken from the forthcoming album “Truth Is A Wolf” – also features Paul Weller that will be released later this year.

Bad Touch – the 5-piece rock band from Norfolk released their second studio album Truth Be Told on Bad Touch Records, with distribution via Cadiz, on Friday 2nd December 2016. The album, which was recorded at Mwnci Studios in Wales, features the single “99%” remixed for radio by the legendary Rolling Stones engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey.

“99% is a great song to ride around in cars and drink beer and smoke pot and listen to rock and roll on the radio,” says Chris Kimsey. “Not that I drink beer or smoke pot , but I remember the simplicity of music and life, so it’s good to hear it is alive and kicking with Bad Touch. I heard something that evoked a good time melodic love song. All it needed some re-arranging and mixing to get to the heart of the song.”

Bad Touch’s current album, “Truth Be Told” celebrates classic rock with Southern boogie influences, with heavy guitar riffs and an iron-clad, tight rhythm section, in the great tradition of Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin.
