About this Event
Thrive returns on Saturday 20th May with Slinky Bop! Thrive is an collective that aim to co-ordinate local businesses, families, and most importantly you, to create community inspired projects to raise funds for local charitites that need our support. This time around it'll be to raise money for the Youth Cancer Trust. A charity that provides support to those aged between 14-30 who are living, or who've had to live with cancer. You can expect a topsy turvy cury wurly twisty turny event during the peak of Spring (yep, that was a Slinky pun). Exhibitioning an array of various art forms, from visual through to aural, expect your senses so bounce around in this wonderland of fun where you can witness some of the South West's finest artists exhibitoning their art forms to raise money and awareness for a thoroughly deserving cause.
Where better to represent the spirit of community than The Winchester. For those who haven't heard, this epicentre of Bournemouth's creative comunity will be closing it's doors at the end of May, so this is the perfect opportunity to come and pay your respects and support it getting the goodbye it deserves. Entry is £3 before 9pm, £6 afterwards, and we'll be rocking until 5am so it's nothing short of a bargain.
