Velvet Engine

(Alt-Folk)

Velvet Engine, the brainchild of Latina Northamptonian San-D Godoy, emerged enthusiastically into our lives and our hearts at the start of 2008. After numerous positive reviews, tours and radio airplay, she introduced occasional band members and in 2012, released her long-awaited debut release 'Glimpse Of The Sun', a collection of songs which have been described as "Yearning Alt-Folk, with a sprightly but reflective soul". Counting Laura Marling, Neil Young and Daughter amongst her many influences.
