UK based FEATURECAST (Jalapeno Records / Jungle Cakes / Ghetto Funk), has been synonymous with the groove and funk for quite a few years now, during which he has been on a mission to funk his way across the globe with his own brand of DJing, bringing mid-tempo Breaks, Hip-Hop, Funk, D&B and down right dirty Bass together in his own remarkable way.

2014 proved to be a very fruitful year for this talented artist, lighting up the main stage of Australia’s biggest Breakbeat festival – Breakfest, adding to an already impressive list of festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival, Beat Herder, V Festival, Fusion Festival, and Canada’s Shambhala.

Plenty of hard work and passion shaped this artist and has earned him kudos in the studio with early releases on Jalapeno Records, Insane Bangers, Bomb Strikes, Good Groove and Ghetto Funk, before releasing his 2012 album ‘Run For Cover’. His music has also been featured on iPod commercials, film and Games with his track ‘Got That Fire’ being used on FIFA 13.

It’s no surprise he has received plaudits from the likes of Krafty Kuts, DJ Yoda, Z-Trip and dropped sets along side De La Soul, Mark Ronson, DJ Fresh, Wilkinson and Stanton Warriors. Featurecast is set to join the elite.

With the overwhelming support and love from the world’s most respected funky breaks producers and DJ’s, and with a new album in the works, Featurecast will most certainly continue to find his way onto your playlists in 2017 and beyond.
