About this Event
Saddle up with Proud’s Saturday night: POLO
Inspired by the horse history of the venue, when the stables weren’t used for revelry but treating injured horses. Prepare to be whipped into shape on the dance floor, with house, funky disco and R N’ B. We aren’t your standard club, so this won’t be your standard Saturday : entertainment from live bands in the early part of the evening and watch out for surprise shows live on stage.

★★Schwarz Dont Crack★★
After only one year together, Berlin based minimal R'n'B group SCHWARZ DONT CRACK have made a name for themselves among the club crowds of Berlin. Vocalist Ahmad Larnes hails from NYC and producer Sebastian Kreis from south of Germany. Together they move effortlessly though a soundscape of deep bass, 90's drum machines and soulful lyrics. Stay tuned for their first release on BPitch Control in early 2013.

★★ The Laura Holland Band ★★
Eschewing the usual heavily covered blues classics, the ethos of The Laura Holland Band is to bring lesser known, but historically significant songs of the era to a new audience. Great tracks such as Hey Now by Ray Charles, Talk to Me Baby by Elmore James and the Little Milton version of My Babe are mainstays of the set. Their residency at Proud Camden has become a slick, dynamic and highly entertaining show.

★★ Tom Bertram ★★
Tom Bertram has performed for Noel Gallagher at his O2 Arena After Show Celebration Party, at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and also for The Twilight Movie. Whilst touring around the UK and US, he was invited to perform backstage for acts such as Bryan Adams, Joss Stone, James Morrison and Ocean Colour Scene. We love him!
