About this Event
It's 2017 and WE'RE back! We know you will have missed us over the festive period so we've made sure January is an extra special one and with THIS line-up, we're sure you won't be disappointed!
LEVELLE LONDON
ANISA
JAY ALEXZANDER
UK rising triple threat singer/rapper/producer, Levelle London is a firm believer of changing the world for the better- with this at the forefront of every move he makes, Levelle uses his personal experiences as an influence to create that change.
Originally from Camden Town, Levelle found himself homeless at the tender age of 15; with no fixed abode and literally living out of a bag, Levelle found himself ‘running round town, house to house’ over Three Corners of the city, and thus became Levelle London.
Despite his situation, Levelle never allowed himself to become a victim of his circumstances, and channeling his frustrations into a lyrical narrative, Levelle married his honest song writing abilities wit hR&B influences to chronicle his story of passion, pain and pleasure to spark a dialogue around issues that sit at the heart of his approach to music.
Supporting Levelle London will be Anisa, an accomplished piano-player with a voice to rival the world’s strongest female vocalists, her piano-playing ability, song-writing skills and breathtaking soulful vocals have already drawn the attention of incredible artists such as Keyshia Cole, Tank, Mr.Probz & one of her biggest inspirations Brian McKnight. A captivating performer, Anisa has supported the likes of James Arthur and Bridget Kelly and most recently she opened up the show for one of her biggest inspirations, US superstar, Brandy, at the Indigo O2 London.
Alongside Anisa will be the gorgeously soulful Jay Alexzander a singer/songwriter from Mitcham, who has been singing since the age of 16. Not your typical South London musician, Jay’s sound consists of commercial R’n’B mixed with neo-soul. His song writing style is very unique and imaginative, and has been admired by the likes of Grammy Award winning artist Billy Ocean. After his first gig at the Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho, Jay has followed up with a stream of performances across the UK. He has performed on the same line up as the likes of Shakka and Jacob Banks, The most prolific shows, being at Jazz Café in Camden where he opened up for MOBO Award winners Yolanda Brown.
All in all, it's set to be a pretty big night, so get in early to avoid missing out on the chance to hear three insanely talented musicians. To say we're excited is an understatement!
We hope you can make it.
Best,
My Soul Music
