Georgia & The Vintage Youth
Since arriving firmly on the music scene a little less than a year ago with the release of her debut single "The Girl' Georgia has written her first album and recently released an EP also titled "The Girl” as a taster including tracks such as "Remember Brick Lane", which features Dave Swift on double bass from The Jools Holland R&B Orchestra. Her musical influences range from Louis Prima to Paolo Nutini. She was described by Warner A&R as “The missing link between Amy Winehouse and Paloma Faith.
Georgia's debut single has been played on BBC radio 2's Janice Long Show and BBC introducing's Gary Crowley Show, performing with her band “ he Vintage Youth” live for the latter at The Scoop London Bridge for BBC's summer festival and for BBC radio Kent as The James Whale Show house band . Georgia has been interviewed and performed live on BBC radio London's Mark Forrest Show and her EP release, more recently, has also been promoted on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk shows. Georgia is normally supported by her ‘BIG’ band but she is performing a stripped back acoustic set just for The Apples & Pears on the 12th January 2017
