SPIED UPON: UK “SNEAK PREVIEW” FILM EVENT



Berlin based Director Jason Kirkpatrick was himself a target of former UK undercover officer Mark Kennedy, over a number of years, and across four countries. He is presenting a number of short raw film clips from his upcoming documentary Spied Upon, which was shot in five countries and focuses on the international problem of undercover policing by telling the stories of the activists targeted by them. Kirkpatrick will make a introductory presentation as well as Merrick Badger, who was a close friend of Kennedy over a period of seven years. Merrick was a key person doing the research which led to the outing of Kennedy as an undercover officer.



After the film clips there will be time for discussion in order for the audience to provide influence and direction for the finished film, to be released internationally in 2014.
