About this Event
My Soul Music launches it's regular live music showcase at Notting Hill Arts Club with a line-up boasting the highest quality acoustic music, bringing you beautiful melodies and lyrics that will blow you away!
Our very first showcase artist who will be head lining the event is the wonderful Sam Garrett whose love of music crosses over into his way of life.
Now having amassed 3.5 million listens on Spotify, Sam is well on his way to becoming a household name. Sam’s music speaks to the conscious, instils hope and offers a sense of togetherness and belonging told in a warm, natural manner with his folky, reggae vibe.
With a development and publishing deal secured (with Dcypha Productions, under Island Records and Bucks Music Group respectively) 2016 sees Sam take his music to the next stage, showing his growth as an enlightened being and perfecting his musical blessing. ‘Sam Garrett Grace Acoustics’ project, (pt.1 released on 30th September), gives an insight to his highly anticipated LP, ‘Grace’, which promises to uplift, to inspire and to enjoy, delivered by Sams’ true uniqueness.
Support for Sam comes from a big fan of his work - young singer-songwriter Sherika Sherard who exploded on social media when her SBTV A64 performance of her self-written London anthem "Give Me A Job" went viral and notched up over 25,000 shares on Facebook in just 24 hours. Prepare to be challenged and positively moved as you experience her infectious creativity, with a voice like velvet to deliver her positive outlook on life, this Singer-Songwriter never fails to warm and the hearts of listeners.
Currently residing in South London with her band, Rose Betts has been tirelessly refining her skills and taking SOFAR Sounds by storm. “Boasting a voice as delicate and ethereal as it is strong” – Fresh On The Net “Rose Betts is a truly gifted melody maker and poetic storyteller, with tales based on truths and music that befittingly warms and comforts you like a cosy moment on a cold winters night.” – The Elgin, Notting Hill. “You just melt when you listen to this woman sing” - Rafe Offer, founder of Sofar Sounds
She has had high profile radio play with Edith Bowman playing “I Can Never Give My Heart” on BBC Radio 2 and “Orange Trees” being selected by BBC Introducing. Her first EP The Stars Look Down has just been released.

Having played the guitar most of his life, Thomas studied to be a session guitarist at LCCM and after playing in bands, function gigs and recording sessions is now making a name for himself as a very talented acoustic song writer.
