True heavyweights in the Hammond funk genre, The Getup have been pumping out authentic grooves, topped with infectious melodies, and filling dancefloors with their own irresistible brand of Hammond-heavy horn-laden funk.



Their unique sound can be attributed, not only to their influences – Booker T, Charles Earland, Brian Auger, Eddie Russ and many of those rare funk 45’s from the 50s and 60s; also to the list of bands that the members have worked with – The James Taylor Quartet, Brand New Heavies, Reuben Wilson, Sir Joe Quarterman and Funkshone among them.



Followed by Jocee & The Ways performing live funk at 12:30AM.
