Signed to Paul Epworth’s acclaimed Wolf Tone label, Plaitum bring their dark, atmospheric synths and slamming stabs to New Shapes on 7th September.



The duo, made up of 20-year-old childhood friends Abi Dersiley and Matt Canham, take influences from LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads and Bjork in their devastating sonic output that sounds like an ice-cold crush of Chvrches, Crystal Castles and Mssingno.



Earlier this year they released their second EP Jagwa, and expect them to raise the bar ever higher when they play at Notting Hill Arts Club with synth-pop crooner Anna Straker.
