Chris DJ DAPPER DAN Brown Is possibly the only reggae DJ who is also a traditional olde worlde Town Crier. He is The Town Crier of Wimborne Minster (Dorset) and has been spinning tunes for over 40 years from the Sergeants Mess at USAF bases, the “Back To Africa” festival (Gambia), Bestival, Boomtown and Shindig. He has a serious and deep rooted love of Reggae music and all its wonderful forms. He has had a weekly two hour radio show “SKANKING DELIGHTS” on FOREST FM 92.3. Chris’s particular approach has been summarized by Neil Fraser (The Mad Professor) who described as “THE JOHN PEEL OF REGGAE”. Chris acts as compere at many festivals and for the last two years he commands the Town Centre Stage at Boomtown and was secretly selected to do two DJ sets at BANKSY's DISMALAND.
