DOWN UNDER the East Londoners monthly appointment will take place at the mighty Big Chill (Brick Lane) and we are bringing some of the finest London based acts.

For this monthly appointment we have the owner of one of the most respected label in the underground scene DelFin from Motek

DOWN UNDER is purely focused on underground culture taking you into a sonic journey!



DelFin:

DelFin is a co-owner of the well regarded UK/US underground house and techno label Motek Music, which has steadily built a strong global following since it's launch in 2014. He has been DJing since 2003 under various guises with his sound ranging from progressive trance, breakbeat and most recently deep house/techno under the DelFin name.



Alex Zed

Alex has been a part of electronic music and club culture for over 15 years. Alex benefited from his parents vast eclectic records collection and so started from a very young age. Uniquely accomplished in both influence and scope, he has excelled in every one of his incubations: DJ, label owner and producer.

His dream of creating his own music label have come true. Inside Out Records is celebrating is third year and his going from strength to strength where meets great success from the beginning.



Patch

A DJ/Producer hailing from the Northeast but now residing in the heart of London, Patch comes with him a reputation as an artist of impressive versatility. Whilst his work in the studio can often see him producing with a darker, more underground-enriched flavour to his beats, his sets are often a clever and more fascinating combination ranging from soulful and funky house to more darker and melodic driven tracks.



With a recent residency at East London’s highflying Definition night and a constant stream of gigs, Patch has really came into his own from a DJ prospective over the last 18months. Gigs at such highly sought out places on the London nightlife circuit as Magic Roundabout, Shutterbug, Black Dice, Trapeze and Stage 3 have enabled him to build up quite the following for those that his unique feel-good sets appeal to.



With many more gigs in the pipeline over the coming months, and more releases set for release on some of Europe’s most promising and exciting underground labels, this is an artist to be sure to keep your eye on closely in the not so distant future.



SVET bio

With a deep-rooted passion for the darker side of electronic music e.g. industrial, synth-pop, dark wave and electro since her early teen years, it has always been about the rave for SVET. Over the years, growing up in Moscow in the wake of the Hed Kandi era, her love for dance music took on new forms and eventually developed a universal love for all forms of electronic music, ranging from techno, minimal and bass music to late 80s Chicago House, disco, jazz and old school hip hop. “Music is not about the genre, it is about the feeling it delivers, the meaning that resonates to you”. With this thought in mind, you will not know to expect at a SVET set, as each is prepared specifically with many factors in mind aimed to surprise and please the ears of the revelling crowd.
