Proud Camden partners with the online lifestyle magazine, It’s Rude to Stare to host a weekly band showcase and club night. Every Thursday, the brand new music club RUDE curates a weekly rendezvous with an eclectic variety of next wave bands and cutting edge DJs.



Partnering with a series of fashion brands, the magazine and Proud will also be giving followers the chance to win exclusive prizes in the run up to its monthly party through its social media channels and newsletters!

The Struts

The Struts are an indie rock band who formed in Derby in 2009. They are described as a mix between Primal Scream and Hard-Fi. The band however talk about a broad range of influences from 60's and 70's Rock n Roll to soul and motown. Known for their epic live show, massive indie anthems and a lead singer with both the vocals and the moves to rival any other frontman.

F.O.X.

F.O.X are a female fronted alternative electro band based in Essex. They released their debut album 'Chimera' in February and spent March touring across the USA with The Deer Tracks from Sweden. They also took part in 5 independent shows at SXSW.

It’s Rude To Stare



Nicola Marian Robinson is a London born DJ. She has been spinning on key events across East and West London within the music, fashion and film industry.

Nicola love for vintage has not only influence her life but also her music. The Londoner’s playlists cover a range of different tracks from the 1920’s Prohibition to the 1980’s, interspersed with a little Rock n’ Roll and easy electro swing. Nicola's core sound adopts a more underground following where she is known for her deep house, future disco, nu-disco & electronic sounds. Rude!
