SAFE TO SWIM
Brighton based "Heavy Pop" four-piece, Safe to Swim combine the sleazy fuzz of grunge and indie rock with the upbeat hooks and melodies of the pop world.
Since releasing the début track, 'Forget Life. Repeat.' and debut EP, '20 Years' in April 2016 the band have received attention from mainstream media and played many high-profile shows including Y Not Festival, Together The People Festival, Truck Festival, The Alternative Escape, Concorde 2 (Brighton) and The Old Blue Last (London).
“Safe to Swim stand out with their catchy vocals, giddy synth hooks and shredding guitars" - NME
"A blurring of British punk legacies, distilled with American grunge and garage rock smirks with the weariness of youth." - IndieCurrent
"These four boys from Brighton make the most British-sounding, yet American-influenced, indie pop around right now. It’s indie, but it’s heavy, fuzzy and fresh. The contrast is exhilarating." - Gigslutz
Mindofalion
With a unique sound that merges machine-like drums, overdriven bass, lively articulate vocals and reverberrated overdriven guitar, Mindofalion’s sound creates pictures for the listener, where you are coerced through each song’s journey by the messages in Archie Brewis-Lawes' political and socially motivated lyrics.
'They aren't another band, they are new and inventive' – Juice Radio Presenter, James Fox
Lull
Lull is one part Portuguese, one northerner and two southerners. Together we make some serious noise pop.
'brooding and excellent’ NME
'like Slowdive covering Smashing Pumpkins' DiS
'forging brilliance out of everyday tools’ DIY
