“Delightful quatet of artists, writers and scallywags, Penny For The Workhouse are an unusual but addictively fun four piece that leaves the crowd cheering and exhausted in their wake!” – Ash Perrin – The Flying Seasgull Project
Alex Taylor www.facebook.com/alextayloruk
Already compared by reviewers to the likes of Bill Withers, John Martyn, Damien Rice and Jeff Buckley, Alex Taylor is one of the shining lights of the acoustic scene and a troubadour of world‐class standing. When you see him perform live, prepare yourself for an energetic and passionate vocal performance, dextrous and original acoustic playing and some loop pedal trickery for good measure.
Rich Austin www.facebook.com/richaustinmusic
Guitarist, singer/songwriter Rich Austin, grew up by the sea on the south coast and relocated to London. He now buzzes around, playing his music across the land, promoting his debut record 'Memories Forever'.
Kay Proudlove www.facebook.com/kayproudlovemusic
Kay Proudlove is an Australian singer-songwriter armed with an acoustic guitar and a bunch of wordy songs. Taking influence from a range of genres, Kay’s indie folk style is hybridised with a touch of jazz and a hint of musical theatre. From performing on the stages of iconic Sydney venues such as The Basement, The Standard, The Red Rattler and Camelot Lounge to the down and dirty festivities of The Illawarra Folk Festival (2012, 2013) and The Blue Mountains Music Festival (2013), her audience is as diverse as her repertoire. A display of honesty, story telling and a general acceptance of awkwardness, Kay's live performance is much like being invited to her lounge room.
