Proud Camden launches a weekly collaboration with one of the most prolific Electro/House club night on the London circuit. Every Saturday, THE PLAYGROUND stays true to its pledge in hosting a night of ‘only the best in HOUSE, TECHNO and FRENCH ELECTRO’.



Starting their weekly club at Proud Camden in 2008, Playground have gone from strength to strength in their time away from their birthplace, hosting nights nationwide and launching their own festival. They have also launched their own online TV channel and record label which has seen releases from Haezer and Dubstep pioneer Stenchman.

Having ranked in Resident Advisor’s top 10 regular music events worldwide in 2013, the night now returns to it’s roots to celebrate 5 years of success as Proud’s resident Saturday club night.



During it’s time THE PLAYGROUND has graced the London club circuit time and time again with it’s eerie precognitions when staging the latest of acts on the verge of breaking through to stardom, having hosted marathon sets and early defining shows from artists as diverse as Squarepusher, LeftField, UNKLE and White Lies as well as hosting the secret location launch party for Kavinsky earlier this year.



Summarised as “A playground for many of the names that will undoubtedly define the next decade of British music”, XFM presenter, Eddy Temple Morris has said of the night “When you see THE PLAYGROUND at the top of the flyer, you know it’s a winner!”
