M.A.X



Growing up in the midst of East London’s hustling underground scene, Max has built his career from the bottom up. Laying ever-important musical foundations whilst on Pirate Radio from 2000 when he was just Fifteen years old, late nights submersed in dance music were his education.



Having recently jumped on the road with international chart toppers Rudimental as their trusted tour DJ, M.A.X has earned respect from artists and fellow DJ’s alike. Working closely with the industry respected Black Butter Records family, he has played along side Disclosure, My Nu Leng, EZ, Gorgon City, Kidnap Kid and Justin Martin. Playing to growing crowds at Glastonbury, Brixton Academy, XOYO, Amnesia, and Space Ibiza



After years of witnessing what it takes to make a track go off in the club, M.A.X is set for his first ever single release ‘Frankie’ coming out on Black Butter, Inspired by Todd Edwards, Frankie Knuckles, Roy Davis Jnr and Chic, he combines garage inspired samples with disco melodies and deep house bass lines



Starting out as duo P-Funk & M-Boogie, the pair decided to spend valuable time honing their craft individually before looking to regroup at some point in the future. With party driving energy, cheeky charisma and years of experience in one of the worlds most exciting scenes, M.A.X is here to make his mark.
