Proud Camden are PROUD to present one of UK's hottest new bands, The Wholls on Wednesday 2nd December!



The Wholls have been filling out venues across the country recently and now have their turn to tear up Proud Camden in true style!

This rule-breaking band began their career by sneaking into their would-be manager’s grounds, then setting up a PA on the lawn and playing their hearts out without invitation - it was clear these guys were never going to go unheard.



The Wholls (Wolz) are a Bedford-based 4 piece who play alternative rock music for venues packed with manic fans, with a sound that sits equally as comfortably on mainstream radio along with the likes of Jamie T, Royal Blood and Foals. Their energetic & edgy live performances have steadily been building them a legion of loyal fans and frontman Tordy is garnering a reputation as an electrifying presence on stage.



Their debut single ‘X21’ is a great introduction to a sound that is distinctively ‘The Wholls’. Energetic, edgy and accessible – X21 delivers it all.

Support comes in the form of Mowbeck. Mowbeck are an alt-rock/pop outfit from Nottingham formed at the dawn of 2015. Combining classic elements of modern day rock with their signature blend of anthemic choruses, the band have already made a strong impact on the unsigned scene.

'Music has always been the biggest part of all of our lives', states vocalist/keys player Andy Thomas. 'Any good or bad memory in my life has always had music circling

around it.'



Mowbeck’s new single ‘Do You Feel at Home’ is available for download and stream now on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and more. The track is featured on BBC radio sport coverage and had its first Radio 1 play by Huw Stephens shortly after release.

Opening the night are high energy pop/soul/funk band ManneQuins! Made up of drums, bass, two guitars, trumpet and a saxophone and fiery soul vocals, Mannequins have a big, rich, juicy sound influenced by the likes of Alabama Shakes, Amy Winehouse, Dexys Midnights Runners, Mark Ronson and more.
