Come and celebrate the release of the debut single from Q-Block; a fresh collaboration between Black Butter’s MC Illaman and elder statesmen of Garage Sunship. Little known North London talent Krissi comes in with a stunning vocal which provides the missing link between the underground and the dancefloor.



Q-BLOCK live

Q-BLOCK delves reverentially into the UK Garage sound, yet explores a dirtier, nastier aesthetic as they let loose, lovingly fusing Jungle, Ragga, UKG and Future Bass. Illaman started on pirate radio as a kid, MCing for some of London’s finest, and he now tours the world with the likes of Flux Pavillion and Ayah Marar. Sunship’s illustrious career started as a jazz pianist in the Brand New Heavies. His much decorated career as both a musician and a producer includes a MOBO for 'Best Jazz Pianist' and hit remixes for the likes of Sway and Naughty By Nature. Vocalist Krissi delivers a remarkable debut, an exciting glimpse oft hings to come, working with True Tiger. The 25 year old has previously set alight releases with WilliamOrbit and Robbie Williams.

CHOZEN live

Chozen is a new breed MC who quite simply has no equal. His performance has been described as frighteningly real and in your face with lyrics that beg the question: Does he know something we don't know? His band of metal-heads will leave you mesmerised however what has made Chozen a cult figure is his videos which always have a subversive twist.

THE BAR STAFF live

The Bar Staff are five hip hop artists from Portsmouth, comprised of rappers Parv, Jai BlaZe, ASBO (Against Society’s Bullshit Organisation), M.O.N.G.R.E.L and producer The Arca Teck. They recently released a cover of Rick Ross’ Stay Schemin, along with a video and are currently working towards releasing a mixtape.



POLAR CAPS live

Since only launching in the summer of 2011 Polar Caps has already made a visible impact on the underground scene, with the successful release of 'Solutions' mastered by Grammy award winner Matt Shane and the debut music video for 'Will You…' reaching over 10,000 views in the first few months alone. This has led to ever growing popularity on music blogs and forums. As well as recently gaining a clothing co. endorsement and sharing the stage with the likes of Example, The Cribs and DJ Fresh. It seems 2013 is set to be a memorable year for Polar Caps and anyone involved.

TÂCHES DJ set

Big favourite of Annie Mac, TÂCHES finds himself inspired but not characterized by the current leftfield garage phenomenon and the vibes of UK house. While his stance on romantic relationships has not been disclosed, TÂCHES is definitely polygamous in his love affair with music genres. With a refreshing versatility, this enthusiastic young producer intrigues with inventive original productions as well as unexpected collaborations. TÂCHES’ influences include Erroll Garner and Marvin Gaye as well as more recent artists, such as Mount Kimbie and Deadboy. Through his innovative tracks, where the main continuity lies in mellow harmonies merged with more prominent and deep basslines, TÂCHES is looking forward to deliver many more gems and surprises in 2013.

PHAZE ONE DJ set

Phaze One started to make a name for his self, playing at raves in the mid 90s through to the early mellenium at places such as Epidemik, Raindance, One Nation, Dreamscape, Best of British, Breaking Science, Telepathy, Warning, Desire and other places. In 2004 he took astep back and got his head into teaching his self how to produce.In 2009 he started posting his early house/electro productions on the internet and playing out again. In 2010 he set up his imprint, Stand 2 Records and started an onslaught of bootlegs, remixes and original stuff. 2013 has seen massive support from America, Brazil, Canada and the rest of the world and corporate brands like Radio One.
