Known for his eye-brow raising lyrics, Necro isn't one to shy away from extreme subjects. Growing up in the Glenwood Projects in Brooklyn, New York, he started off in a death metal/ thrash band and didn't transition into Hip Hop for some years later. Metal remains as a huge influence in his work, as well as gangster/horror movies. Is it any wonder he's coined the term 'death rap'?



Necro has opened for acts who include Run DMC, Beatnuts, Sepultura, Kool Keith, Insane Clown Posse, Napalm Death & Biohazard. He has headlined for sold-out shows in New York venues such as B.B. King, Irving Plaza, Brownie's, Wetlands, Gramercy Theatre, The Knitting Factory & SOB.



He founded the independent record label Psycho+Logical-Records] in November 1999. In 15 years, Psycho+Logical-Records has released over 40+ albums.



Necro hits on some controversial themes and has created a brand for himself by taking extremity to its limits. This is his thing, he'll toy with you to see if he can make you crack open or crack up, which is part of the fun.
