Billy Rowan, a.k.a. “The Undercover Hippy”, is a singer songwriter and producer who brings together elements of folk, hip-hop, and reggae amongst other influences. The result is a selection of extremely catchy, politically charged and thought provoking songs, packed with imagery and performed with the voice of a man twice his size. His music is difficult to define, but has been likened to that of Jack Johnson, The John Butler Trio, Gomez and Xavier Rudd among others. Think Ben Harper meets Gentleman and they play acoustic hip-hop around a camp fire. -
