About this Event

David is a 20 year old singer/songwriter, from Dorking, Surrey. He is an acoustic musician who plays both the piano and the acoustic guitar, who is currently chasing his dream of being a success in the music industry.



Over the past year David has released his debut single 'I Hear a Voice' and brand new EP called ‘Chasing Your Dream’ alongside new single ‘Girl With No Name’ and the launch of his first official music video. He has gone on to not only reach #4 in the Reverbnation singer/songwriter charts but expand his empire further with the launch of both his website and new merchandise.



David has strong musical influences from artists such as The Script, Coldplay, acoustic group Boyce Avenue and Ross Copperman and often his faith plays a large part too.



In 2011 David made it to the final of The BaseCamp Rocks Competiton for young and unsigned acts hosted at The O2 Academy, Islington. Since playing this gig and experiencing the 'buzz' of such a huge stage and audience David has gone from strength to strength and is constantly striving for the next challenge.



David is currently a student at Chichester University studying Community Sports Coaching whilst gigging as much as possible, both in Chichester, Surrey and all over the country. He is extremely passionate about his music and is very excited about what the future has in store.
