Marsicans

'Disgustingly fun'



Marsicans are a 4-piece band from Leeds, Yorkshire. Formed in 2011, their upbeat indie/dirty pop sound ('sun-kissed calypso-rock' according to one reviewer; 'highly infectious Afro-pop' according to another) and energy-fuelled live performances have earned them a strong local following.



A growing reputation for crowd-pleasing shows has led to support slots with the likes of Catfish and the Bottlemen, Embrace and Ku Bar favourites The Pigeon Detectives as well as festival appearances at Leeds & Reading, Bingley Music Live and Live At Leeds.

Support from Ambershift, Durham based noisemakers with the stabbing guitars of the Killers, melodic might of Foo Fighters and We Were Scientists’ sized dynamics creating a delicious slice of alternative rock. Support also from Josh Newell-Brown, with his debut single 'Shine' set for release on March 16th we've jumped ahead of the curve to snap him and his band up for a show. Expect Josh's unique voice backed by an incredible sound-scape.
