TYREE COOPER



Tyree Cooper was at the forefront of the House music revolution. His contribution to House and Hip House widened the appeal of House music globally. Growing up on the streets of Chicago’s South Side, listening to Farley “Jackmaster Funk”, “ The Hot Mix 5“, Ronny Hardy and the electrifying energies of Frankie Knuckles, Tyree was well schooled at an early age.



Two years after college, Tyree was already one of the most popular and highly sought after DJs in Chicago. Then Vince Lawrence, of the House band “Jesse’s Gang“ (founded by Jesse Saunders) persuaded Tyree to put together a demo tape of his music

to start a career as a recording artist.



From then it was only a question of time before signing the first record deal with the Chicago based underground label D.J. International Records.



The first 12″ – “I Fear The Night“ (with female vocalist ‘Chic’) – promptly became an underground classic in Chicago. Other hits followed: “Video Crash” or “Acid Crash” (1987), “Acid Over“(1988), “Turn Up The Bass“ (1988/89),“’Let’s Get Hyped“ (feat. Kool Rock Steady, 1989), “Let the Music Take Control“ (1989) and “Hardcore Hip House“ (1989). Tyree Cooper is today regarded as one of the most influential international Houe music artists of the last three decades.



With all the releases that Tyree has done, and more to come, he still has time to enjoy his passion, which is DJing and hosts a monthly alongside his partner Bobby Starr at the famed club “Tresor” in Berlin. Tyree Cooper of late has been spinning at events as Glastonbury Festival UK, Amsterdam Dance Event and clubs like Concrete in Paris.

LAY-FAR



Lay-Far is a Moscow-based DJ and producer who for the last 6 years has been a driving force behind the soulful and eclectic music scene in Russia. Bridging the gaps between deep, Detroit and soulful house, rare Disco grooves, Funk, Jazz-tinged bangers, Brazilian & Afrobeat, Lay-Far has played alongside the likes of Karizma, Atjazz, Dego, Kev Beadle, Seiji, Motor City Drum Ensemble, at festivals across Europe including the legendary Southport Weekender and Suncebeat, Croatia. The man is also a machine when it comes to his production having released on labels including Local Talk, Atjazz Record Company, Tru Thoughts Recordings, Tokyo Dawn & Basic Fingers but to name a few.

Since the late 90s, Waterford born duo Daz and Martin have been tearing up dance floors across the Ireland and nowadays and further a field in Europe and beyond their unique fusion of 70s and 80s funk and soul and their own disco edits.which have seen high praise from luminaries of the scene such Bill Brewster, Greg Wilson and Harvey.
