Starting in late 2011, Perception began playing shows in July of the following year (2012) and has been gathering a strong reputation in their local area since. In March of 2013 Perception released their self produced debut EP: Realisations which was received very well by their fans and a number of local critics.



Taking influence outside of their genre, combining soaring melodies, technical hooks and crushing rhythm sections. Perception take conventional ideas to the next level, thinking outside of the box among an over-saturated genre.

With an intense live show; sure to bring you to the heights of excitement, the band boast a DIY attitude towards creating music and supplement this with an online presence unlike most other bands.
