The Sun Explodes www.facebook.com/thesunexplodes

Progressive metal band from Carlisle.

"A brilliant cocktail of noise" - METAL HAMMER: 8/10

"Titanic pile-up of tangled riffs and dispairing vocals, memorable for all the right reasons" - TERRORIZER: 7/10

"Sonic scientists with soul, a wondrous advery for new school thinking” - PROG

Press To Meco www.presstomeco.com

Press to MECO (me-co) have always possessed an ear for a huge riff and equally gargantuan three-part harmonies, yet anyone familiar with Press to MECO knows not to second guess the next step, a fact reinforced by the themes on the 'Affinity' EP: death of the elderly; indecent secrets; crystal methamphetamine; procrastination; mental illness and cannibalism.

Having self-released their debut single 'Affinity' in April 2013, the track continues to enjoy on-going radio support from Alex Baker - Kerrang!, Sophie K – Team Rock Radio, John Kennedy and Ian Camfield - XFM.

The 'Affinity' EP was released in May 2013 accompanied by their first headline show at Barfly, London. As a direct result of this show the band secured a live 'Xposure' session with Xfm and were booked by DF Concerts to open the 'Summer Nights' festival at King Tut's, Glasgow. Having played the Red Bull Studios stage at Download Festival last year, they made a return to Download this year as the Saturday openers of the Zippo Encore Stage (stage 2).

Legend In Japan www.facebook.com/legendinjapanband

Legend in Japan are a self-produced DIY alt-punk band from London, the antithesis of the saccharine sweet pop princesses dominating the chart, they have a taste for anti-lust themes, catchy hooks, passion, sincerity and a pretty balls out live show.

Chase The Day www.facebook.com/chasethedayofficial

Chase the Day was born in a dingy Camden basement, the bastard child of one too many hangovers and the frustrations of young men, all bonded together with 90s grunge grooves, epic metallic riffs and hooks that just won't quit. Following the release of a gritty self-titled EP and a slew of chaotic gigs across the capital, we are now putting the final touches to our debut album with producer Tommy Gleeson (Slaves to Gravity, The Ga Gas).
