At Can You Dance To My Beat the Tribe Records' boss Zepherin Saint spins a house-driven mastermix and the crowd dance until the sweat sparkles, fuelled by deep house mixed with a panoply of rhythms, vocals and new tunes from around Africa. It's a mightily diverse continent musically yet Zepherin Saint brings it all together, mixing music from Cairo to Kinshasa, and Casablanca to Mombasa alongside club classics and fresh-as-tomorrow grooves from beyond the mother continent.



Can You Dance To My Beat has been a monthly feature at the Arts Club since December 2011, and the're just recovering from a sensational second Can You Dance To My Beat Festival on the Greek island of Kafalonia (which ended on Saturday 16) with a host of world-renowned DJs who share a more adventurous approach to fusing soulful house with the best dance music from right around the planet.
