In February Chess Club, National Anthem and Neon Gold combined forces to launch a new monthly spin-off of their New Shapes series at Notting Hill Arts Club. After the runaway success of the launch party, which saw ASTR and The Silver Palms tear the roof off a packed house, we've enjoyed great shows by Broods and MØ, Tove Lo and Kill J and Wet, Laurel, Mapei and Zella Day to name but a few.



First up we have Hoodlem, a new act from inner-city Melbourne. Hoodlem is an anonymous project blending pulsing experimental beats, soulful vocals and crisp production. Hoodlem have been gathering momentum at a quiet-yet-urgent pace worldwide - their debut single 'Through' resonated with international audiences receiving blog love worldwide.



Headlining this month we have a band whose synth pop anthems have been taking the U.S. by storm!! Part of the Neon Gold Records family we couldn't be more excited to welcome Magic Man take to the New Shapes stage.
