Venue spotlight: Cargo Manchester

We’ve all heard of Cargo London, right? It’s been a mainstay on the east London party scene since its conception almost a decade ago. Cargo London is such a Shoreditch icon, it’s even got its very own Banksy right in the courtyard! So you can appreciate some contemporary street art whilst you’re getting wasted on a Friday night. That’s my perfect night out right there.

Well, with the success of their much-loved London venue, Cargo has set their sights on England’s second city (sorry Birmingham): Manchester. Made in the image of their sister venue (but with a dash of Northern cool), Cargo Manchester has arrived to revolutionise the nightlife scene. Located in the famous Printworks venue right in the heart of the city centre at 27 Withy Grove, Cargo Manchester is in a prime location to get your boogie on.

Cargo likes to be right at the heart of culture, which is probably why they’ve made Manchester their new home. After all, there’s so much going on in Manchester at the moment and so many people are beginning to take Manchester seriously as a cultural and financial hub – hence why its skyline has “skyrocketed” (sorry) over the last decade. Reflecting the quirky and energetic nature of the Manchester nightclub scene, Cargo is seeking to create a bright, brash, neon-themed party zone – all ready for you to party into the wee hours, or just enjoy a casual cocktail or a beer!

Cargo Manchester boasts a 3000-capacity space split into *four* different rooms each offering a different vibe, cutting edge Martin Audio sound systems, and free entry 7 days a week. That means that all your hard-earned cash will be going on shots instead of just on getting into the place! There’s something different going on every night down at Cargo…

During the week you can choose between Manifest Mondays (which will be heavy on the DJ sets), Buzz Tuesdays, Wonderland Wednesdays, and Thirsty Thursdays. Cargo stays open till 4am every night so you won’t have to worry about getting kicked out as soon as you’ve got your buzz on. At the weekend, you can choose between FOMO Fridays, Manifest Saturdays, and Shutdown Sundays. Also, if you love a boozy brunch as much as we do, get your butt down to Cargo every Saturday for a bottomless brunch that will blow every brunch you’ve ever had out of the water!!
