Love Saves The Day 2020

Love Saves The Day 2020

The organisers have clearly been busy to make it a memorable farewell of the infamous venue, Eastville Park. The festival will be moved to Ashton Court Estate after this sure to be memorable 2020 event. What’s not to love about Love Saves The Day, the Bristol based festival covers a wide range of genres making it a festival to enjoy for all. Not only does it cover most genres, it brings in the top DJ’s and artists of their areas! The traditions of the festival will continue to reign on, from fairground rides to getting married to your friends at the lovable church of Eastville Park, you simply couldn’t have a more memorable wedding day!

The two day festival will be headlined on Saturday by the electronic sounds of DJ due Orbital. Followed on by Top Boy’s very own rapper Kano set to headline the Sunday. The artists may well steal the show but the stages themselves are artistically put together to provide the aesthetic visuals, the cleverly put together stages are supported with sound-systems bound to get you moving. The widespread variety of music makes it perfect to get a feel for each and every stage hosted at the festival, be sure to work your way around the Park and experience the unique vibes each stage provides.

Saturday’s line up could not feature anymore talent than it already has – DJ EZ a local favourite is set to return to Bristol. Rap fans are in for a treat with; M Huncho, Krept and Konan and of course D Double E. If this isn’t enough to get yourselves down to Bristol on May 23 – 24th then what is!

Love Saves The Day has always had an eye for upcoming talent, the newly brought to scene Little Simz will be shaking the stage supporting headline act Kano on the closing Sunday. Fashionista turned DJ will be providing the underground beats including her hit singles Jigoo and Starry Night. It has to be worth mentioning that Bristol will be loudly welcoming home their home-brewed drum and bass DJ ‘My Nu Leng’.

Headliner Insight:

Orbital:

The english duo of Orbital have become somewhat of a household name. The electron house duo have sprung to the front of the scene since the early days of acid house. Orbital's image has had a change since they started off, the public may have recognised Orbital as a chart hitting pop due - with the evolution of technology, the duo have transformed into tech-house masterminds. You'd be a fool to miss this set, however, do not forget to take in the scenery of visual behind the set going on, the tech set is wonderfully collaborated with futuristic visuals!

Kano:

Kano has worked hard to establish himself as one of the world's top MC's of today. The rapper recently played a leading roll in Netflix top hit series 'Top Boy', although the talent known as Kano did not need to extra exposure from the show, the public had rediscovered their love for the rapper. Prepare for a lyrical genius to set the usual moshpit crowd to life! Believe it or not, it is now 16 years since Kano 'invented grime' by bring P's and Q's to us. Another massive pull from the organisers of Love Saves The Day which should not be taken for granted, a must see, safe to say it'll be 'Hoodies in the Summer'.
