Bar Soho

Fun atmosphere, half price drinks up to 8 on a Saturday night! So only 2.50 for a pint! Good music and a mix of ages.

I had booked a table for my birthday and a few people had arrived later, to which a member of staff (the manager ?) said that they had to pay £5 to enter. I said this wasn't necessary as I had booked a table, paid for the deposit and that they were with me. I got told it was nearly midnight so they had to pay to enter the bar. I told them it was ridiculous, even more since I had not been notified at all about a late arrival "fee", to which the same staff member rudely replied "Well you're being notified now". I felt very embarrassed towards my friends about this, who did not let me pay for them as a birthday treat. Some more slight rude attitude and comments were added from the staff outside. The waiters in the private area upstairs were not aware either we had a £50 bar tab, and once told they tried to screw them over with how much they had left of the tab. I might go again but without a booking so I don't have to deal with these issues again!
