We visited for a Ward Thomas concert. Parking was a short walk away and mostly lit on the way back. The venue was easy to get into and had sufficient toilets and bar area. I guess when you're a student, as I have been, you don't need a vast array of drinks on the menu. However by today's standards with copious choices, there were slim pickings. Strangely they sold mostly bottled products but then had to decant them for health and safety reasons. A bit disappointing. No bitter on tap. Only one choice of wine. No snacks. The venue wasn't sticky or alcohol soaked like some student venues I've been to in the past. It's a pity the Grove eatery didn't stay open until the warm up act started as at least it sold decent lager.
