Last night my friends and I walked half an hour to Pryzm to be greeted by a bouncer who denied our entry because half of us were wearing trainers and the other half were associated with us so weren't allowed in, despite the fact they were wearing the 'correct' footwear. I said to the bouncer that every time I have been to the club I have been wearing that exact same shoes but I was blanked by him. I rang the contact number provided on your website and I explained to the woma...n on the phone the situation. She then incredibly patronisingly said to me that Saturdays are for people of a 'higher class'. I replied and said that my choice of footwear does not affect my behaviour in the club and on a dance floor no one is inspecting people's feet to see what shoes they have decided to wear. I was greeted with another patronising reply of 'I'm sorry I didn't mean that, I meant people of a higher standard'. The way I was spoken to on the phone horrendously derogatory, bearing in mind my other friend was inside and sent me a picture of her wearing converse. I can assure you I won't be returning to the club that is obviously 'too higher standard' for the likes of me and my friends.
