First night back in the pub since the refurb. I frequent this place.

Pros: was super impressed with the new decor, it smelled better, was cleaner and overall a nicer place to drink than it was before, beer selection will be better when the taps actually get put on. Better menu.

Cons: there was a bit of a price hike with the drinks but nothing massive, the menu needs some better burgers and to rid itself with the obsession of pulled chicken and chorizo on everything! The food was okay, and I enjoyed it but had to order 3 times as the items I wanted as part of the board tapas thing weren't on, and the staff didn't seem to know this until the order went through and generally seemed undertrained.

My conclusion is that this is probably a teething problem and will be rectified, but we will see.
