BE CAREFUL WITH YOU DRINKS! We went there for a Friday cocktail night and it was lots of fun until the end of the night. One of our friends ended up in hospital because she passed out, had full body spasms, and struggled to breathe at some points. Once the hospital did blood tests they found drugs in her system (she hadn't taken any). We later found out that it's not unheard of for people's drinks to be spiked at The Slug and Lettuce, with friends and family telling us of similar experiences they've had or heard of. It's such a lovely place, and is a shame that this happens there. So a word of warning BE CAREFUL DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DRINKS! We haven't found out who spiked our friends drink but definitely be cautious.
