My friend paid £50 to reserve an area between 7:30-10:30pm, most guests arrived around 8:20pm only to be told the venue was 'at capacity' so it was 1 in 1 out and they were looking at around an hour to get in, even though there were only three people in the reserved space for 20. They were told they would also have to pay the £10 entrance fee as even though they arrived in time, they wouldn't get to the front of the queue before 8:30, when entrance is charged. My friend was not told that the spaces in the reserved area would not be protected, or in fact that being on 'guest list' is as much use as an inflatable anchor and the power trip clipboard manager was heinously rude and arrogant. Apparently everyone in the group had to arrive at 7:30 on the dot to get in... which while completely ridiculous would have been possible if anyone had been told this. We had to go somewhere else and they refused to compensate in any way for their own incompetence. Would give zero stars if possible. If reserving an area here be sure to use your magic mind reading skills.
