Like all the Grand Union venues the decor and layout are a huge part of the charm, the one near Paddington has something so won't find anywhere though, a quiet Saturday night!
Surrounded by offices thus place is heaving during the week, especially Wednesday and Friday apparently, but Saturday night me and some 20 friends for a leaving do pretty much had the place to ourselves.
I wish the food and cocktail deals lasted an extra hour, finishing at 7 is obviously designed to get us out early but on a night with no customers this could really bring people in.
I've been in after work during the week and have been served by some of the staff (supervisor lady?) Who was on that night, the staff were all top notch, as we're the cocktails. Food is the best but it was good enough if you orders while the deal was on.
