Once home to one of the UK's best club nights, Slinky, the Opera House became another O2 Academy, retooled itself with a much nicer interior ready to play host to a room full of absolutely nobody with no regular weekend event whatsoever, but now occasionally hosts the hottest acts from your Gran's record collection every few weeks.

It isn't obvious who should get the blame for this but it's happened and it'll never be the same again.

Nice venue though, if you happen to want to catch the latest Kajagoogoo tour.
