Very disappointed with a visit to the restaurant on 14/8/16. My sister in law arranged a surprise birthday get together for her mum today. We prebooked several weeks ago to speed things up when we arrived. Our table was booked for 12:30, we were there on time, we didnt get our first course for over an hour, second course another hour, third course another hour. For those who didnt order a starter meant they had to wait until apx 2:30 for something to eat. My mother in law and brother in law ended up cancelling their dessert because they hadnt arrived 10 mins after the other desserts. Even the bill took about 25 mins to sort out because of a problem with the till. My niece had to leave an hour early without her dessert because it took so long and her children were getting wrestless and my husband had to wait outside in the car for an hour because he couldnt sit any longer in the chairs as he has two broken legs. On a more poitive note, the food was nice and the staff were lovely but I wont be returning any time soon. The whole experience was very stressful and spoiled the occasion.
