Let's get this right. This club is a very good replica of the original which was demolished in the seventies.The Beatles obviously never played the replica but Paul McCartney did in 1999. the surviving Quarrymen did in 1999, the original club was much sweatier and was several yards down from the new club. For all of this the owners have done a great job in keeping the Cavern name alive and they contribute greatly to the Liverpool Beatles experience.
