The birthplace of Beatlemania and where it never really died. Although once knocked down and rebuilt using much of the original brickwork, it truly feels like a blast from the past and it sticks to its roots as a musical destination. The live club at the back provides a nicer and more quiet environment to get a very good experience out of a gig, particularly the Cavern Beatles and their opening act at the time, Johny, who was kind enough to bridge the Liverpool-Manchester divide by finishing his performance with an Oasis classic. Highly recommend a visit, even if not a Beatles fan.
