Live music events to return as soon as next month in Italy
Cafès, bars and restaurants have been given the green light to open.
Italy were in the spotlight for perhaps all the wrong reasons, but tight lockdown restrictions now being eased has clearly proven to benefit the nation. Italy underwent strict lockdown around the beginning of March.
It was announced just two days ago, May 18, that all of; restaurants, bars and cafès would be allowed to open their doors once again. The agreement between the public social areas and the government was that whilst being open they would operate with strict social distancing measures with all customers being a meter apart at all times other than with your own household company.
Now for the headline…
As of June 15, live music events will return to Italy, however there will be again strict measures to follow. Indoor events will have a maximum capacity of 200 whereas outdoor events will be allowed 1,000. Live music events will have to be seated events for all that attend with every member of public wearing a protective masked and maintaining one meter apart from each other.
Sad news remains the trend when it comes to nightclubs. The Italian government remain firm in stating that dance halls, nightclubs and areas of a similar nature will remain closed until further notice.
Sicily however, being one of Italy’s five autonomous regions is set to open nightclubs from June 8 onwards. There is still arguments to be made we are sure, due to the region not being entirely free of Italy’s legislations.
