Who will be featuring?
This year the line-up is packed full of some of the best artists on the scene; so let me give you a brief idea of what’s to come. Top of the bill, electronic music royalty Chase and Status will be headlining the fest. The production dynamic duo from London have gone from strength to strength since meeting at uni. Now with three albums to their names featuring big names such as Plan B, Tinie Temper and Rihanna, the boys have solidified their position in the UK’s thriving electronic scene. With a fourth studio release expected this year, we expect their performance this summer to be an early showcase of what they have to come. UK hall of fame genre spanner Goldie will be guest of honour. The artist is credited with having a major influence on pioneering the 1990s rave scene in this country through his production skillset. With early roots in jungle and backbeat hardcore style music he has gone on to star in a variety of British film and TV; impressively his acting credits include a feature role in a James Bond movie ‘The World is Not Enough’, Guy Richies ‘Snatch’ and Eastenders. As such a foundational element in such influential periods of British musical development we are excited to see what he has to offer. London rapper Giggs will also be appearing. With his fourth studio album ‘Landlord’ being released last year reaching number 2 in the charts with a massively positive reception from fans and critics alike, the artist is quickly becoming one of the biggest in his genre. Sub Focus are performing a DJ set that should be a highlight of the fest. As one of the biggest electronic production acts about Sub Focus, real name Nick Douwma is carving a reputation now on par with classic heroes of the genre such as The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. With his signature genre blending of drum and bass, electro house and more his set should cater to all. With these acts and so many more it is definitely worth checking out the full line-up.
