What’s there?
There are various eccentric areas to explore at the beautiful BreconBeacons!
Mountain’s Foot is a popular attraction for those eager to witness raw musical talent boasted by a magnificent mountain and hills scenery and taking up the majority of the field- as it is very much like an amphitheatre. The attraction has its own ‘Mountain Bar’ for you to clench your thirst at with a range of appetising ciders, wine, spirits or non-alcoholic refreshments. The ‘Green Man Shop’ is just next door to the bar…where you can splash out on souvenirs or gifts for those who would have wished they were there!
‘Far out’ is designed for those serious ravers…with DJ’s and artists blasting tunes here all night long! You can go extra wild on the ‘Ferris Wheel’ which will be lit up at night so you can appreciate tremendous views. Otherwise, you can take a breather and wind on down at the ‘Cinedrome’- which will be screening classic movies and new releases! ‘Walled Garden’ is a supreme spot to catch live talent where everybody can dance and sing a long too. Despite being in a done up courtyard…you can seclude yourself in your own privacy amongst the 12ft high stone walls and stay until the early hours of the morning with electric beats pumping through the atmosphere! You can also wind down in the ‘Nature Nurture’, which is fabulous for those yoga experts or a great excuse to cave into some holistic therapy. The simple stress nest is a heaven of health and well-being with Yoga classes, Pilates classes, as well as sparkling hot tubs and saunas to deeply relax in. That’s not all! We all know how messy festivals can be, so Green Man Festival have given you the option to pamper yourself more with the use of straighteners and hairdryers, sockets are also available for you to recharge your phones at, so get snapping away!
‘Einstein’s Garden’ is the ideal mingling place for the creative minds! Scientists and artists can exchange thoughts in this gifted garden. Another mixer introduces, ‘Babbling Tongues’, where you can natter away to amazing poet, authors, musicians and journalists! At this unique settlement you can loudly project your voice on a range of discussions, debates and interviews!
‘The Courtyard’ is the best place to visit to keep you hydrated or treat it as the classic meeting point to meet up with your friends whilst you sip on one of 100 fine Welsh ciders! You can also tease your taste buds with something from the ‘Green Man’ exquisite menu.
Can you keep a secret? ‘Fortune Falls’ is the classified destination to be to recognise new upcoming artists and to take delight in the breath-taking art installations. Make the most of this location and send for some luck by making your wish come true on the ‘Wishing Tree’ branches!
