Autumn Fasion

Autumn Night Fashion

Ladies, it’s now autumn and your outfit needs to be on point when you hit the bars and clubs. You don’t want to be freezing cold when you’re having a drink outside and you don’t want to be a sweating pig when having a little shuffle on the dance floor. But you can find a balance and this article with hopefully help you out.

So you’re not ready to hang up the bare legs. We’ve had them on show all Summer but now as the temperatures drop, our poor legs are turning pink as we walk from taxi to bar, bar to club. Think about showing a subtle bit of tanned legs (probably fake unless you’re incredibly lucky and have been away recently), easiest is around the knee area. Black knee high boots with a tan, suede mini skirt will look flattering and fit in with the bar scene and club. Or try a nude midi skirt with some colourful or even patterned Chelsea boots. Skirts and boots are perfect for those stems that can’t stand the sudden drop in temperature.

Autumnal night tops are a tricky one. This season, classic black tops are in, but with a twist. The Gothic Romance trend is back and encourages lace detail, thin straps and high necks. With a new black top, have a look through you wardrobe and see what you can pair with it. Burgundy is always a staple colour, so maybe some burgundy leggings or jeans with some great black heeled boots. Or go all black, which doesn’t have to be boring. Black culottes with a high neck top and some court heels would look great or wet look leggings and a lace blouse would also stand out when you’re sitting at the bar sipping on a Cosmo.

Coats complete or you could say, make an outfit. Each year, thousands and thousands of coats hit our shops from the end of summer, so there are plenty of tempting, beautiful shoulder warmers. A beige trench coat is stylish and looks fab with skinny jeans and a great pair of high heels. Waterproof coats don’t have to be black and boring like the ones Mum bought you in year 7. If you have a killer outfit on and you have the confidence, purchase a see-through mac. They won’t keep you warm, but they will allow everyone around you to check out that outfit that took you days to put together. You may think that coats are a no-go when you’re off out for some drinks but that couldn’t be more true. They really can add glamour to an outfit. Plus sometimes the £2 cloakroom charge is worth it.

Hope I haven’t given you the urge to spend your money, but autumn is sort of an excuse for a few new items to the wardrobe, right? But if you have some dates lined up or drinks with colleagues or friends, make sure you have outfits planned so you can take your time getting ready.
