Marbella Nights
Think sun, sand and ahem... shots!
As the Towie lot say there`s no place like Marbs. Okay so I may have made that up but it doesn’t mean it’s not true. Let’s get one thing straight, Essex knows how to party! Seeing as its home to Licklist headquarters I don’t really feel the need to justify myself here, it’s merely a fact, we can all party hard and we know it. Therefore if Marbs has the Essex seal of approval then that is enough for me! Marbs isn’t just Pina Coladas and Jagermeisters, its home to some of the most highly acclaimed international DJ`s out there and if you choose the right hot spots you could even find yourself rubbing shoulders with A listers whilst sipping on some Moet (that’s fancy champers FYI).
Puerto Banus:
If you’re a bit of a cheap skate by which I mean you manage to blag yourself free drinks all night then perhaps Puerto Banus isn’t for you. The only way you’ll be blagging in Puerto Banus is if you’re closely related to Eva Longoria or if you are in fact Eva Longoria (loved you in Desperate Housewives btw). A single bottle of Corona will set you back around 11 Euros, that’s almost £8 to you and me! (That would get me enough cheesy chips to last a lifetime) Situated on the Southwest Coast of Marbella Puerto Banus is a marina containing some the most expensive restaurants, bars and designer names as well as being home to all things luxury. Known as the hottest party destination in Marbella, perfect for a girly get away or a lad’s boozy weekend, the vast variety of wild nightclubs, restaurants and designer stores make it the most exclusive and luxurious holiday destination Marbs has to offer. Whether you plan to party all the way through or take some time to chill out and enjoy the glorious good weather this beautiful destination can cater to all your needs.
Celebrity Hotspots:
The drinking starts early, the dancing starts late and the night isn’t over until the sun has been and gone again. Two things Puerto Banus isn’t short of are money and nightclubs. Ferraris and Lamborghinis are pretty standard forms of transport but if you’re feeling really fancy you could do worse than to cruise around on your own private yacht, sure does beat being stuck in a Ford Fiesta on the M25. Just be sure to leave your Lamborghini at home whilst you check out some of the best clubbing venues on offer, the most recent addition being Club Aqwa Mist, a club that attracts a whole load of famous faces making it the number one celebrity hotspot. Rudimental and Tinie Tempah are amongst the many who have performed at the venue, with Kid Ink set to perform in just a few days. As well as famous faces such as Amir Khan, Ashley Cole, the Geordie Shore gang and of course the Towie lot all being regulars, now that’s a dance floor battle I would pay to see. Eva Longoria even once made an appearance; you don’t get fancier than that!
Another prime celebrity location is Tibu Banus, located in the heart of Puerto Banus and open 7 days a week from dusk till dawn, quite literally seeing as it doesn’t close until 7am. Its best to pre book for a table to avoid disappointment, there are also a number of different VIP packages on offer, perfect for a Hen Party or a good old birthday bash. For a slightly more chilled out vibe try the beautiful Pangea club with its open air roof top terrace offering spectacular views over the harbour, the ultimate place to relax and enjoy a cocktail or two with its chilled out atmosphere.
Love Juice Parties:
Never been to a Love Juice party? Um why not? Launched in 2007 Love4Clubbing holds events in some of the most exclusive nightclubs in London and Marbella bringing together like minded crowds for unforgettable nights out. LoveJuice returns to Puerto Banus this summer at several different locations including La Sala for the August bank holiday weekend and Aqwa Mist towards the end of June as well as a special performance from Phillip George at the Cavalli Club. If you want to dip your toe into the world of Marbella nightlife before you jump straight in and board a plane then check out the LoveJuice nights in Essex, slightly less sea and sand but just as epic. This year’s LoveJuice is hosted at Epping’s hotspot Club 195, keep your eyes peeled for more up and coming events as the summer gets in full swing.
Holiday destination sorted I think!
