Why Wireless?

Let’s play a game. Think of a huge pop, dance, rap or DJ star of today. Got one? Okay good. Now, I’m going to be straight with you, I don’t have a clue which one you’re thinking of…. I mean really. How would I know? But what I do know, is whoever you are thinking of, they’re probably going to be at Wireless this year. How do I know that? Because this is a festival which seems to attract all of the best names in music to their stages every single year, making New Look Wireless one of the biggest festivals going. Taking place in Finsbury Park, London, you’d be an absolute fool to miss it.

Tenth birthday spectacular:

This year is a very exciting one for Wireless festival. They’re celebrating their tenth birthday, and what better way to mark this occasion than by throwing an absolutely massive party, with a guest list just as huge. As well as the regular festival running from July 3rd-5th, Wireless will also be hosting another event on the 28th June called Wireless 10. Think of this as a bonus mini festival. That’s right, all of the excitement of Wireless weekend packed into a one day mega celebration. Performing at Wireless 10 will be the likes of Drake, Rita Ora and Katy B, plus plenty more big names. This is a celebration you definitely don’t want to miss. It’s a festival and a birthday party both packed into one, aka: an excuse to get twice as drunk!

Don’t think for one second that all the effort has been put into Wireless 10 though. Nope, the weekend festival itself definitely has not been forgotten, and the line-up looks set to be one of the best years yet. Drake has decided to stick around for a bit and also headline on the Friday, but he won’t be staying for much longer. Wireless is your last chance this summer to see Drake live in the UK this summer, so make sure you make the most of the opportunity while you can! Drake will be joined by many other amazing artists, all spread across Wireless’ various stages. Avicci, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Gorgon City, the list is endless. By the end of the three days you may literally combust from all the amazing music your ears have been exposed to. It’s a genuine risk.

Tents not required:

If you’ve been working on your tent pitching skills all summer and are desperate for a place to showcase them, unfortunately, Wireless festival will not offer you with this opportunity. There is no availability for camping at Wireless festival. But think of it this way – rather than finishing your day majorly intoxicated and having to stumble through fields attempting to locate your pathetic excuse for a tent, instead, you’ll be able to end the day a nice cosy bed, far away from the distinct farm smell of festival fields. For those of you who live further away from London, this may mean you’ll have to pick your favourite day of the four and go to just one of them. Two day and one day tickets are also available, so the choice is entirely yours.

 Why wireless?

So why choose Wireless festival? Well, the fact that it’s their tenth birthday seems reason enough alone, things are going to get BIG this year, and we’re sure they must have a few surprises up their sleeve. Wireless festival leaves the wellies and smell of fields behind. It has been dubbed ‘the hottest ticket in London this summer’. There is simply no other festival in the capital which can boast such an incredible line-up.

As you’d expect, tickets are selling out super quickly for this one, so don’t miss your chance. Pick one up here and be a part of the tenth anniversary celebrations!
