Eastern Electrics 2015
Eastern Electrics 2015 has well and truly delivered on its first batch of scorching hot acts ready to reign over the glorious grounds of Hatfield House in Herefordshire on the 1st August. With 8 stages, hosting some of the biggest names in house and techno on the planet, you can expect a day of sun, fun and world class beats.
From it’s birth in a warehouse in 2008, Eastern Electrics has been providing some of the best underground music events in London and is now dominating the UK festival scene. The likes of Jamie Jones, Skream, Richy Ahmed, DJ EZ, The Two Bears, Floorplan, Lil Louis and many, many more will be descending upon Hatfield House. Gear up, this is going to get messy.
Homegrown producer, record label owner and one quarter of Hot Natured, Jamie Jones will take his rightful throne headlining the main stage, which will also be hosting Argentinian techno artist Guti. Black Butter Records make their impressive debut at the festival, hosting their own stage, which will be headlined by garage superstar DJ EZ. Skreamism will be taking over the Big Top stage this year, offering up Detroit techno legend Floorplan, Richy Ahmed and Skream himself. London club XOYO and Sink the Pink have teamed up to present the Gloria’s stage, proudly presenting, Lil Louis, the founding father of house as one of their first acts. So many big names all in one day, looks like you are spoilt for choice!
If your toes get tired from dancing then don’t worry, there are plenty of areas for you to chill in a hammock, meet some friendly strangers and have a beer in the sun. As you know dancing is thirsty work, luckily there will be a cocktail bar and even a tropical rum bar to shake things up a bit! There will also be a variety of street food stalls at the festival to keep every fuelled up for a day of non-stop partying.
Although Eastern Electrics is a one-day affair you can still expect all of the festival frivolities without the usual festival nightmares of leaking tents and awkward shower situations. However, this doesn’t mean its for the faint hearted, not only does this festival party all day, it parties all night too! There will also be two official after parties, one near Hatfield House and one in London, whichever takes your fancy!
All of this and still more? YES. Eastern Electrics will continue to add to this incredible line up, every Tuesday they will be announcing more acts so watch this space.
